Unmetered is a traffic term
An unmetered offer describes how traffic usage is handled under the service terms. It does not remove the selected port-speed limit or give permission to disrupt the network. Check the exact order configuration, any acceptable-use conditions and whether a stated speed is the physical port, a rate limit or a committed capacity. Those details are more useful than an isolated “unlimited” label.
Match the server to the connection
A faster network connection does not make every application faster. CPU work, storage throughput, encryption, software settings and the remote destination can all constrain transfers. Review the application’s actual traffic pattern: many small requests, large downloads, database replication or simultaneous client sessions. Choose hardware and connection capacity together rather than treating the network option as a substitute for application assessment.
Check direction, route and operating conditions
Ask how inbound and outbound traffic are treated, what monitoring is available and which network events or changes require coordination. Test representative destinations where possible instead of relying only on geographic distance. A single transfer result is not a guarantee of sustained performance across all routes. Document the time, endpoints and method of any test so the result can be interpreted properly.
Review upgrades and the final monthly total
Nuberal’s unmetered range displays the price of a shown configuration. Optional network, memory, drive, operating-system and service-level choices may change the total. Compare the selected server in the client portal and confirm availability and delivery timing before completing the order. The available speed options vary by product; do not assume every server can be configured identically.
Your decision checklist
- Selected port speed and traffic conditions
- Hardware capacity for the workload
- Representative route and transfer checks
- Full configuration and delivery confirmation
